Took a while to get the base height just right, but the 9.6-inch extension clicks in firmly and holds steady. It's a bit pricey for a piece of plastic, though.
The extra 9.6 inches makes a noticeable difference for our setup, though the base feels a bit more wobbly than I’d like at full extension. It clicks in securely, but I wish the connection were a little tighter. Overall, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
